Knauf DriTherm Cavity Slab 37 is a rigid to semi-rigid glass mineral wool slab, designed for use in external full-fill masonry cavity walls. It has a low thermal conductivity which helps the cavity batt insulation give an excellent thermal performance They provide exceptional cavity wall insulation even in structures up to 12 metres tall in any exposure zone, as well as multi-story applications up to 25 metres tall. Knauf DriTherm Cavity Slab has the highest possible fire classification. They are rated A+ by Euroclass, which means the cavity batt insulation is non-combustible. Dritherm37 slabs are designed to easily fit between wall ties without the need for retaining discs. They can also be ‘knit’ together to eliminate air gaps between adjacent slabs, thus ensuring effective thermal insulation. Knauf Insulations use a unique bio-binder-based technology called ECOSE® Technology to make the glass mineral wool insulation more people and environment-friendly. The manufacturing process of fibreglass insulation uses about 70% less energy when manufactured using Ecose Technology. It does not contain any added formaldehyde or phenol. Without the added formaldehyde, the cavity wall insulation generates very low levels of dust, which makes it easy to handle the product. Ecose technology makes the insulation soft to touch and increases the comfort for those handling it.
