Designed as a decorative barrier to stop hip tiles slipping and falling from the roof. All Hip Irons are manufactured from mild steel, with a hot dipped galvanised finish applied after manufacture.

  • Nail or screw the Hip Iron to the hip rafter prior to bedding the tiles on mortar.
  • If using nails, use 30 x 3.75 square twist nails.
